Hard walking but worth the effort

I've seen rock art in every state in the country, I have never been asked to pay for it, until split rock. So I didnt see it and nor did my family. I might've paid the $20 for the family to see it, if I hadn't visited the single toilet in the carpark prior. What an absolute disgrace. No toilet paper, bodily fluids on the floor, walls, sink and seat. It was so far below standard, it should be closed or dismantled. The short time we were there (waiting for our paying friends) there were several tour groups arrive. Quite a few people headed over to the toilet. All of them walked out immediately, shaking their heads.

To the corporation running the site, hang your heads in shame. I think this is an accurate indictment on the Aboriginal people. The artwork representing a proud tribe and nation, long since past. The toilet representing the modern indigenous who see nothing wrong with the squalor they surround themselves with, yet still expect money on the back of generations past.

A short walk which takes you to Aboriginal paintings which are nice and easy to see.

Best aboriginal art work I've seen and I believe there is even better in the area. Beautiful countryside as well.
